any Doctor/Jack Harkness:
I do ship them, but gen and friendships stories are more than welcome. Anything that has them working together to save the world, the universe or just themselves will have my love. I love AUs that have them travelling together for a long time or at different times in their impossibly long lives, Jack meeting Doctors who don't know him and tagging along, while being conscious of the timelines, or them figuring out how they can be friends or lovers with the strange lives they lead and all the loved ones and relationships they have in their lives or lost. I'm okay with them loving other people and still coming back to each other when the time is right. I love them being ad odds and following their own plans and then being shoved together again.
Jack Harkness/Martha Jones
They've gone through so much together and they know they can rely and respect each other. I do very much like them as friends, but I also ship them. They do have a wonderful on screen dynamic. What would it have been like if instead of joining UNIT Martha had joined Jack at Torchwood? How would Martha deal with being Jack's friend or lover over the years, when she grows older and he doesn't?
Heather/Bill - whether as human girls or as Pilots - I just want to see more. They had the chance of this soft romance in the beginning that got changed into this scifi adventure and I want to know everything about it. Do they see the start together and what does that mean for them now? Can they ever have a sort of normal romance? Canon divergence where they get their moment before the ship "recruits" Heather. What would that have looked like?
Martha/Bill - I love companions meeting and I think these two would have gotten along really well. They are very different in many ways and their histories are also very different, but I feel like depending on why they could meet they would be very good for each other and could teach each other much. Bill as such a curiosity and love for life and a Martha later in her timeline might be drawn to that - with all her UNIT and Torchwood experience. Would they find way to travel together?
Martha/Rose - I'm really fascinated by the idea of this pairing. Rose is so strongly set up as a "rival" figure for Martha that I think they would actually be surprised if they'd ever had time to get to know each other. I'd love to see them connect in a positive way and bring out the best in each other.
Thirteen/Missy - I'm so excited for the new Doctor, there are no words for it. And even better: I always shipped Doctor/Master. There is so much history - friendship, love, betrayal - and now we have them both in female bodies. IT'S THE BEST! And I'd really love to see them go on in their way, playing out their complicated love/hate relationship like they always do, but preferably with more on screen kissing action.
Ninth Doctor/Jack Harkness/Rose Tyler: Missing adventures are always nice or exploration of their growing friendship/relationship. I really do love me this OT3 and all the things we know must have happened between the "dancing" and them developing the rapport they had. Maybe something about how their relationship exists even after they’re split up (Bad Wolf or just thinking about how they influenced each other?)
Thirteenth Doctor/Rose: How would they meet and where? And how would Rose feel finding a Doctor who's yet again changed? I'd love them to meet and adventure and explore what they meant and can mean to each other now.
Clara/Bill: I'd love something where they meet at different times and out of sequence or where Bill runs into the different Clara's. Or even where they meet when Clara is running from her own death and Bill is traveling the stars with her girlfriend. What would they have to share then? I'd love it if they find someone they can share their experiences with in the other, but at the same time if they're not bitter or sad about their time with the Doctor at all, but share and celebrate the fun time together too.
I prefer canon compliant fic or divergent AUs. You can never go wrong with hurt/comfort and pining, angst and bittersweetness. I like gen adventures and time travel shenanigans. I'm okay with Holiday themed fic.
