I like mentor/protege relationships. I like the mysterious things touching their lives. I like missing adventures, quiet moments off-screen inside the canon we know. I don't mind canon from sources I don't know. I do not mind use of other characters to tell a story, even if they weren't requested, with caveat.

I do not want death fic. I don't want rape, or non-con. Dub-con is case by case... make me believe that it would have happened without the dubious-making and I will likely be fine. No excessive bodily fluids or other biological wastes.
